MRI Brain Atlases

Ekam has developed its own MRI based 3D animal brain atlases, which segment the brain into distinct areas for use in registration, segmentation, and in-depth data analysis and visualization. The development of MRI brain atlases involves drawing anatomical and functional regions on high-resolution MRI scans. The quality of MRI scans is comparable to that of histology slices, as shown in the adjacent image. These brain atlases are a valuable resource for Ekam’s clients, providing a standardized framework for the analysis of MRI data and enabling more accurate and reliable comparisons between studies.
